1. For first-time connection:
- Check Battery: Ensure the recorder has sufficient battery. Charge it for at least 20 minutes if needed.
- Enable Permissions:
iOS: Go to your iPhone's Settings, find the "PLAUD" app, and ensure Bluetooth permissions are enabled.
Android: Open your phone's Settings and enable both Bluetooth and location permissions for the PLAUD App. Before Android 12, the Location service must be enabled for Bluetooth scanning.
- Enable Bluetooth: Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is on, and keep the PLAUD NotePin close to your phone.
- Reconnection Attempt: Try reconnecting to the app.
2. For reconnection:
If the PLAUD app can't find the PLAUD NotePin, please try the steps below:
- Make sure the device has sufficient battery and can be turned on (better to fully charge the device).
- Make sure the phone's Bluetooth is on.
- Update the PLAUD App to the newest version.
- Restart the phone.
- Reset the device(long-press the center of the device for 12 seconds while charging).
