Symptoms
- Your recordings contain a static, crackling, or electrical hum.
- The noise appears across recordings rather than in one file only.
Steps
- Update the Plaud App. Make sure you're running the latest app version.
- Share a sample for analysis. Static noise often needs a recording sample to diagnose. If you can, set aside a short, non-sensitive recording that shows the problem.
If the issue persists
Submit a request and include:
- A short, non-sensitive audio file that contains the static noise so our team can analyze it.
- Your device model and Plaud App version.
