Symptoms
- Your Plaud device stops recording sooner than its rated battery life.
- The recording duration is shorter than you expect on a full charge.
Steps
- Fully charge the device. After it reaches a full charge, keep it on the charger for another 15 minutes.
- Reset your device. Reset your Plaud device to clear any temporary issue.
- Record until the battery runs out. Start a recording and let it run continuously until the device powers off.
- Recharge and transfer. Recharge the device, reconnect it to the Plaud App, and transfer the recording.
- Check the duration. Review how long the recording lasted. If it runs longer than 15 hours, the device is working normally.
Note: Cold weather affects battery performance and can cause rapid discharge. Run this test at roughly 25°C to 35°C for accurate results.
