Connect Plaud with Zapier to automatically route your transcripts and AI summaries to thousands of apps—no coding required.

What is Zapier?

Zapier is an automation platform that connects over 7,000 apps—including Google Docs, Notion, Gmail, and Slack—so they work together automatically. When you integrate Plaud with Zapier, you can build Zaps that automatically route your transcripts and summaries to other apps whenever a transcription is completed.

Before you start

To use Zapier with Plaud, you'll need:

  • A Plaud account
  • A Zapier account with a Free Plan or higher subscription (View Zapier pricing)

How to connect Plaud with Zapier?

Once you have both accounts ready, follow the steps below:

  1. On Plaud Web, click Explore → Integrations.
  2. Scroll down to find Zapier, then click Go to Zapier.

  3. Choose Start free with email or Continue with Google to sign in to your Zapier account.

  4. After signing in, you'll be redirected to the Zap editor. Select the Account tab, then click Sign in or Connect.
  5. Sign in to your Plaud account and click Allow access to grant Zapier permission. Once confirmed, the connection between Plaud and Zapier is established.

How to create a Zap with Plaud as a trigger?

Plaud supports two trigger events: transcripts generated and summaries generated. When Plaud fires a trigger, it automatically sends data to the action app you've configured.

Here are the steps:

  1. Choose an event for your trigger, then complete sign-in in the Account tab.

  2. Select the Trigger tab and complete the Configure section.

  3. Open the Test tab and click Test trigger.

  4. Add an action, choose an event, and complete sign-in in the Account tab.

  5. Select the Configure tab and complete the action configuration.

  6. Go to the Test tab and click Test step.

  7. If the Zap runs correctly, publish it to activate it in your live environment.

Using Zapier with a Team workspace

Zapier can also connect to a Plaud Team workspace. Each Zapier connection is bound to exactly one workspace — your personal workspace or a specific Team workspace. In Zapier, each connection appears as a separate Plaud account labeled with the workspace name, so you can tell them apart at every step of a Zap.

To connect Zapier to a Team workspace:

  1. In the Zap editor, open the Account tab and click Sign in or Connect to add a new Plaud account.
  2. Sign in to your Plaud account. On the authorization screen, select the Team workspace you want this connection to use.
  3. Click Allow access. The connection is now bound to that Team workspace.

A few things to know:

  • A Team connection can only reach files you own in that workspace. It cannot access other Members' files or files shared with you.
  • Your existing personal Zaps are not affected. Joining a Team workspace does not change them — to point a Zap at your Team workspace, add a new connection and select that workspace during authorization.
  • You can hold separate connections for your personal workspace and each Team workspace you belong to, and you can revoke any of them individually from your authorized apps list, where each connection is labeled with its workspace.
  • If you are removed from a Team workspace, the Zapier connection for that workspace stops working immediately. Your personal Zaps are unaffected.

FAQ about Zapier integration

Can I use Zapier with a Plaud Team workspace?

Yes. Add a new Plaud connection in Zapier and select the Team workspace on the authorization screen. The connection is bound to that workspace and only reaches files you own in it. See the section above for details.

What trigger events does Plaud support in Zapier?

Plaud supports two trigger events: transcripts generated and summaries generated. You select the event when configuring the Trigger tab in the Zap editor.

Where do I find the Zapier integration in Plaud?

Go to Plaud Web, click Explore in the navigation, then select Integrations. Scroll down to the Zapier card and click Go to Zapier.

Can I use Plaud as an action in Zapier?

Currently, Plaud is only available as a trigger. You can use Plaud to automatically send data to other apps when a transcription or summary is ready, but you cannot trigger Plaud from other apps via Zapier.
