Symptoms
When you attach Plaud Note to the back of a Huawei phone, the screen turns off and recording stops. This is usually caused by the phone's Smart Cover mode reacting to the magnetic field from Plaud Note.
Steps
- Open Settings on your Huawei phone.
- Go to Smart assistance \> Smart cover.
- Turn off Smart cover.
Smart Cover mode normally activates when a flip cover closes and dims part of the screen. Even without a flip cover, the magnetic field from Plaud Note can trigger it, so turning the feature off resolves the issue.
