Audio import expands Plaud's capture capabilities by allowing users to bring recordings from outside the Plaud ecosystem into the same intelligence workflow.
Understanding audio import
Import audio from your local files or third-party apps directly into the Plaud App. Plaud processes these files like native recordings, allowing you to extract insights and apply templates immediately.

From your local files:
- Launch your Plaud App and tap on the Record button.
- Tap on Import Audio.
- Choose From Files/From Photos to select the local files you want to import.
- Then, it will start transcoding and importing.
-
From third-party apps:
- Voice Memos
- In the Voice Memos, find the voice recording to be imported and tap "..." next to the recording name.
- Select Share.
- Tap on Plaud.
- Other Apps
