Keep your recordings tidy by renaming, moving, deleting, and restoring files in the Plaud App.
What is file management?
File management lets you organize the recordings in your Plaud App. You can rename a file, move it to a folder, merge files, delete files, permanently remove them, or restore ones you deleted by mistake.
How to rename, move, merge, or delete a file?
- Find the document you intend to modify.
- Swipe left, and you will see "Generate," "Move to," "Rename," "Merge," and "Delete."
- Tap "Generate" to start generating transcriptions. Tap "Delete" to delete the file. Or tap "Move to" to move it to a folder you create.
- Tap "Rename" to rename the file.
- Select two or more files to merge them into one.
How to permanently delete a file?
- Tap the down arrow icon at the top of the "Files" page.
- Tap "Trash".
- Select the file you want to delete permanently and tap "Delete" at the bottom.
How to restore a deleted file?
- Tap the down arrow icon at the top of the "Files" page.
- Tap "Trash".
- Select the file you want to restore and tap "Restore" at the bottom.
