Overview
Auto power off lets you set Plaud Note to power down automatically after a period of inactivity. This extends standby time to up to 60 days while keeping the device ready to record at any moment.
Where to set it
In the Plaud app, go to Settings \> Auto power off and choose one of the following options:
- 15 min
- 30 min
- 1 hr
- 5 hr
- Never
- Power off now
The timer counts only idle time. Plaud Note will not power off while it is actively recording, transferring files, or performing any task with the Plaud app.
Recording after power off
Even after the device powers off, you can start recording at any time by pressing and holding the Record button. There is no need to power it on first.
