If you cannot connect your Plaud Note to the Plaud App, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
For first-time connection issues
- Charge your Plaud Note: Check if the recorder is out of power. If so, please charge it for at least 10 minutes.
- Enable Bluetooth permission:
- iOS: Go to your iPhone's Settings, find the "Plaud" app, and ensure Bluetooth permissions are enabled.
- Android: Open your phone's Settings and enable Bluetooth and location permissions for the Plaud App. Before Android 12, the Location service must be enabled for Bluetooth scanning.
- Enable your phone's Bluetooth: Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is on, and keep Plaud Note close to your phone.
- Check the Indicator Light: When you press the record button, verify that the white light on your Plaud Note turns on.
- Reconnect to the App: If the light is on, try reconnecting to the app.
For reconnection issues

- Make sure the phone's Bluetooth is on.
- Update the Plaud App to the newest version.
- Restart the phone.
- Reset the device(Long-press the record button for 15 seconds while charging).
