Symptoms
The indicator light does not turn on when you try to power on or charge Plaud Note. The device may be frozen or fully drained.
Steps
- Use the original charging cable and charge Plaud Note without the Magnetic Case to see whether the indicator light turns on.
- Switch to a power adapter that specifies "DC-5V" with an output of at least 0.5A.
- Make sure the charging cable makes good contact with Plaud Note.
- Check the charging port for dirt and clean it with a dry paper towel if needed.
- Charge for at least 10 minutes. If the indicator light turns on, keep charging for at least 10 minutes, then try recording again.
- While the device is charging, press and hold the Record button for 15 seconds to reset it.
- Check whether the device only works while plugged in. If Plaud Note turns on and works only while the charging cable is connected, and shuts down as soon as you unplug it, the battery may need service.
