Start recording Recording, screen off Highlight
All three screens above mean the device is recording: a moving sound waveform shows audio being captured (left); a single blinking white dot means recording continues with the screen dimmed (middle); a purple marker appears on the waveform when you add a Highlight (right).
Pause recording through the App — an orange pause symbol (II) appears when you pause the recording from the Plaud App.
Not connected to the App — the home screen shows the battery level, and the Plaud logo in the lower-right appears dim.
Connected to the App — the Plaud logo in the lower-right lights up solid white when the device is connected to the Plaud App.
Not connected, untransferred file detected — a small waveform icon appears near the bottom of the home screen when recordings haven't been transferred to the Plaud App yet.

A two-arrow icon means recordings are transferring over Bluetooth; a Wi-Fi icon means Fast Transfer over Wi-Fi is in progress.
Update firmware — a gear icon with a progress bar appears during a firmware update; keep the device powered on until it completes.
Full storage Charging required
A red storage icon with an exclamation mark means storage is full — transfer recordings to free up space. A red battery with a lightning bolt means the battery is too low — charge the device.
