Plaud Note Pro itself doesn't contain a magnet. It attaches magnetically through the Magnetic Case included in the box, which snaps onto MagSafe-compatible iPhones. For phones without a magnetic back, the included Magnetic Ring adds magnetic attachment to any device.
What is the magnetic attachment?
Plaud Note Pro attaches to the back of your phone through the Magnetic Case included in the box. Place the device in the Magnetic Case, and the case snaps onto phones with a magnetic back, staying secure during calls and everyday use. If your phone doesn't have a magnetic back, the Magnetic Ring that also comes in the box lets you add magnetic attachment to any phone.
The device on its own won't stick to your phone. Always use the Magnetic Case for attachment.
Before you start
- Place your Plaud Note Pro into the Magnetic Case included in the box.
- Check whether your phone has a magnetic back before choosing the attachment method below. MagSafe-compatible iPhones (iPhone 12 and later) support direct snap-on attachment.
How to attach Plaud Note Pro to your phone
If your phone is MagSafe-compatible:
With Plaud Note Pro in its Magnetic Case, snap it directly onto the back of your phone. It aligns and locks into place magnetically.
If your phone doesn't have a magnetic back:
- Remove the plastic holder from the Magnetic Ring included in the box.
- Peel the adhesive backing and stick the Magnetic Ring onto the back of your phone.
- With Plaud Note Pro in its Magnetic Case, snap it onto the Magnetic Ring.

Can I attach the device through a phone case?
It depends on the case. With a MagSafe-compatible phone case, Plaud Note Pro (in its Magnetic Case) snaps on directly. For phone cases without magnetic support, stick the Magnetic Ring on the back of the phone case rather than on the phone body.
Can I use Plaud Note Pro without the Magnetic Case?
The device works normally without the case, but it can't attach to your phone magnetically: the magnet is in the Magnetic Case, not in the device. Attaching the bare device to your phone isn't supported and may result in the device falling and getting damaged.
Can I move the Magnetic Ring after applying it?
The Magnetic Ring uses a strong adhesive. It can be removed, but repositioning may reduce its stickiness. Place it carefully before pressing it down.
Does magnetic attachment work with Android phones?
Yes. The Magnetic Ring works on any phone regardless of operating system. Stick the ring on the back of the phone, then snap Plaud Note Pro (in its Magnetic Case) onto it.
