Symptoms
- The Plaud App cannot find Plaud Note Pro during pairing.
- The device fails to connect or keeps disconnecting.
- A previously paired device no longer reconnects.
Steps to try
For first-time connection
- Check whether Plaud Note Pro is out of power. If so, charge it for at least 10 minutes.
- Enable Bluetooth permission for the app:
- iOS: Open your iPhone's Settings, find the Plaud app, and make sure Bluetooth permission is enabled.
- Android: Open your phone's Settings and enable Bluetooth and Location permissions for the Plaud App. On Android versions before Android 12, Location must be enabled for Bluetooth scanning.
- Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is on, and keep Plaud Note Pro close to your phone.
- Press the Record button to turn on the device, then try binding again.
For reconnection
- Make sure the device has enough battery and can turn on. A full charge is best.
- Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is on.
- Update the Plaud App to the latest version.
- Restart your phone.
- Reset the device by pressing and holding the Record button for 12 seconds without the charging cable connected.
