FAQ about speaker labeling
Does Plaud Web automatically identify different speakers?
Yes. Enable Name speakers during transcription setup and Plaud will automatically separate and label each speaker in the transcript.
Can I apply a speaker name to the entire transcript at once?
Yes. After clicking a speaker label, you can choose to apply the name to all paragraphs with the same speaker.
What if a speaker name is incorrectly assigned to a paragraph?
Click the Speaker label on that paragraph and correct the name individually.
I renamed a speaker, but the summary still shows the old name. Why?
The transcript updates as soon as you rename a speaker, but a summary that was already generated keeps the names it was created with. Regenerate the summary to refresh the speaker names there.
