Symptoms
The battery on Plaud Note drains faster than expected. This usually appears in one of two ways: short standby time, where the battery empties after a few idle days, or short recording time, where the device runs out well before the expected 30 hours of recording. Run the matching test below to confirm the behavior.
Steps
Test standby time
- Charge the device to 100%. After the LED turns green, keep charging for another 15 minutes.
- While charging, press and hold the Record button for 15 seconds to reset the device. The reset succeeds when the indicator light turns off.
- Leave the device idle and note how long the battery lasts.
Test recording time
- Charge the device to 100%. After the LED turns green, keep charging for another 15 minutes.

- Record continuously until the device runs out of battery and shuts down. Recharge it, reconnect to the app, transfer the recording, and check how many hours it captured.
