What is audio playback?
The Plaud App includes a built-in audio player for every recording. Use it to listen at adjustable speeds, jump to any moment via the transcript, and visualize your audio with the waveform view.
Playback controls
Tap the play button to start, and use the on-screen controls to manage your listening experience:
- Adjust playback speed: choose from six speeds between 0.75× and 2×: 0.75×, 1×, 1.25×, 1.5×, 1.75×, and 2×.
- Skip forward or rewind: jump 15 seconds ahead or back with the skip buttons.
-
View the waveform: a full-recording audio visualization that shows sound levels across the timeline.
How to navigate using the transcript?
Tap any line in the transcript while a recording is playing to jump directly to that point in the audio. The player and transcript stay in sync as the recording progresses.
