Short answer
Use Press to Highlight intentionally. Mark decisions, deadlines, numbers, commitments, and next steps. Your summaries become dramatically more "sendable."
What's a highlight?
A highlight is a quick marker for "this moment matters." It helps the AI focus on key moments—decisions, action items, numbers, deadlines, commitments, objections—so your summary is more practical and easier to share.
When to use highlights
Use highlights whenever something is important to remember or act on, especially during meetings, calls, or voice notes you plan to summarize.
How to add a highlight (while recording)
- Keep recording as normal.
- When an important moment happens, press briefly (less than 1 second) to add a highlight marker at the current moment.
- Continue recording—repeat whenever another key moment occurs.
What to highlight
Press to highlight when you hear or say:
- Decisions ("We'll do X")
- Action items ("You take Y by Friday")
- Numbers (pricing, counts, metrics, targets)
- Deadlines (dates/times)
- Commitments ("I'll follow up")
- Objections / risks ("That won't work because…", blockers)
Example moments to highlight
- "Let's ship the fix on Friday 3 PM." (Deadline)
- "This impacts 12% of users." (Number)
- "Alex will send the rollout plan tomorrow." (Action item + commitment)
- "Concern: this may break SSO for enterprise accounts." (Objection/risk)
Quick tips
- Highlight sparingly (only the moments that change what happens next).
- If it includes an owner or date, highlight it—those are the most actionable.
- If someone disagrees or raises a blocker, highlight it to ensure it appears in the summary.
