- Stay close: Keep NotePin S within ~3 meters of the main speaker (closer is better in noisy environments).
- Don't cover it: Avoid blocking the mic with clothing, scarves, or thick fabric.
- Wear it stably: Choose a position that minimizes rubbing/swinging (clip/pin is often more stable than a swinging necklace).
- Reduce background noise: Move away from loud music, wind, traffic, or crowded areas when possible.
- Avoid cross-talk: Overlapping speech reduces clarity—encourage turn-taking in group conversations.
Quick "before it matters" test (recommended)
Record 10–15 seconds in the same environment and play it back to confirm voices sound clear before starting an important conversation.
If audio is still unclear
If recordings sound muffled even at close range, collect the wear style, environment (noise/wind), and a short sample recording, then escalate per support policy.
