Why they help
Text notes and images add context that audio alone can't, which helps the AI produce more specific, accurate summaries.
When to use them
Use notes/images when important information is visual or hard to hear clearly, such as:
- A whiteboard photo (decisions, diagrams, action items)
- A product label (model/serial numbers, SKUs)
- A document snapshot (key clauses, figures, checklists)
How to use them
- In the Plaud App, open the relevant recording (or its detail page).
- Add a text note and/or attach an image.
- Write a short note (1–2 sentences) explaining what matters (e.g., "Final decision," "Deadline," "Next steps," "Exact part number").
- Generate or refresh your summary so the added context is reflected.
Best practices
- Keep notes short and explicit (who/what/when).
- Capture images that clearly show names, numbers, and final outcomes.
Privacy reminder
Only add notes/images that are permitted by your policy; avoid sensitive/PII content unless you have explicit authorization.
