Overview
Plaud NotePin S is designed for close-range, real-world conversations, so you can stay present in the moment and still get clear, usable notes afterward.
Best recording range
- For the best results, keep speakers within about 3 meters (≈10 feet) of the device.
- This works best at a normal speaking volume in typical conversation settings.
What to expect in larger spaces
- In large rooms or when speakers are farther than ~3 meters, NotePin S may not capture every word clearly.
- NotePin S is optimized for conversation-range recording, not for picking up voices across an entire room like a long-distance microphone.
Tips for better clarity
- Move closer: If possible, position the device 1–2 meters from the main speaker.
- Reduce noise: Background noise (crowds, music, fans) can reduce clarity, so choose a quieter spot when you can.
- Place it openly: Avoid recording from inside bags, thick clothing, or behind objects that block sound.
If you often need to record speakers beyond ~3 meters, consider using a setup designed for long-distance or room-wide audio capture.
