Summary
Plaud NotePin S is splash-resistant. This means it is designed to handle minor splashes (everyday incidental water contact), but it is not waterproof and is not intended for submersion.
What you can do
- Use in light rain for short periods.
- Wear while washing hands, as long as it is not directly under running water for an extended time.
- Wipe off splashes promptly.
What to avoid
- Submerging the device in water (pool, shower, bath).
- Direct water jets (e.g., under a faucet or high-pressure spray).
- Prolonged exposure to water (staying wet/soaked for an extended period).
- Steam/sauna environments.
- Salt water or chlorinated water exposure.
If the device gets wet
- Stop using the device and disconnect any accessories.
- Wipe the exterior dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Ensure no moisture remains around openings/buttons; do not use heat (hair dryer) to dry it.
- Air-dry in a ventilated place for at least 2 hours (longer if heavily wet).
- Do not charge until the device is completely dry.
