What is logging in to Plaud Desktop?
After you install Plaud Desktop, you log in with your Plaud account to sync your data and use the app. Authentication happens through Plaud Web in your browser. Make sure you have a stable internet connection and your Plaud account credentials before you start.
How to log in to Plaud Desktop?
- Open Plaud Desktop.
- Click Log in.
- Authenticate in your browser. A browser window opens to Plaud Web to authenticate and link your account. If you are already logged in to Plaud Web, confirm Link account to authorize. If you are not logged in, sign in (or create an account) in the Plaud Web page, then follow the prompt to link your account.
- Return to Plaud Desktop to complete sign-in. Plaud Desktop shows the signed-in home screen, and your account is visible.

The browser page does not open. What should I do?
Confirm that a default browser is set, allow Plaud Desktop to open links, then retry.
The linking prompt does not appear. What should I do?
Refresh the Plaud Web page and retry from Plaud Desktop.
