Enable the required permissions so Plaud Desktop can record and sync correctly.
What are permission settings?
After you sign in, Plaud Desktop shows a permissions page. You must enable all three permissions to continue, using the exact labels shown in the Plaud Desktop UI on your system:
- Access to microphone: required for audio capture and processing features.
- Access to system audio (macOS): required to capture audio from your computer.
- Private Cloud Sync: required to save, download, or export recordings and outputs.
How to enable permissions?
- On the Plaud Desktop permissions page, click Enable for the first permission and approve it in the system prompt.
- Repeat for the second and third permissions.
- Return to Plaud Desktop, confirm all three items show as Enabled, then continue. The app proceeds past the permissions page to the home screen.
