Automatic Recording starts and stops recording for you when a meeting begins and ends.
What is Automatic Recording?
Automatic Recording lets Plaud Desktop start and stop recording automatically when a meeting begins and ends, based on the meeting sources Plaud Desktop can detect on your system. A meeting is a scheduled event that Plaud Desktop can detect, for example through supported calendar or meeting integrations available on your OS and app version. If a meeting is not detectable by the app, Automatic Recording may not trigger.
Before you start, make sure you are logged in, your Microphone, System audio, and Private Cloud Sync permissions are enabled, and any required calendar or meeting access prompts have been allowed. Confirm your computer time and time zone are correct for accurate start and stop timing.
How to enable Automatic Recording?
- Open Preferences in Plaud Desktop.
- Click Recording.
- Turn Automatic recording on. When a supported meeting starts, Plaud Desktop shows a recording indicator and timer without you clicking Start recording.
