What is the display language on Plaud Desktop?
The display language controls the language used by Plaud Desktop menus, buttons, and on-screen text. The setting applies only to Plaud Desktop. Plaud Web and Plaud App each have their own separate display language settings.
How to change the display language on Plaud Desktop?
- Open Preferences/Settings
- From the widget: Right-click the widget → Settings
- From the main Plaud Desktop window: Open Preferences (or Settings) from the app menu
- From the widget: Right-click the widget → Settings
- Click General
- Find Display language and select your preferred language from the dropdown list.
- Confirm the change. The UI should update immediately; if it doesn’t, quit and reopen Plaud Desktop once.

English, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese.

Does the display language sync to Plaud Web or Plaud App?
No. Each Plaud surface has its own display language setting.
My language isn’t in the supported list. Can I add it?
Not at this time. Plaud Desktop currently supports the 10 languages listed above. Additional languages may be added in future releases.
The UI didn’t update after I selected a new language. What should I do?
Quit and reopen Plaud Desktop. If the UI still doesn’t update, restart your computer.
