What do the Notifications settings do?

The Notifications settings let you control which Plaud Desktop pop-ups and system notifications appear on your computer. You can turn each notification on or off:

• Meeting start reminder: shows a prompt when a meeting starts, with recording-related information.
• Recording upload reminder: prompts you after an upload completes to generate notes.
• Note ready alert: notifies you when the transcript and summary are ready to view.

How to manage notification settings?

1. Open Preferences using either of these methods:
   • From the widget: right-click the widget, then click Settings.

     

   • From the main Plaud Desktop window: open Preferences from the app menu.

     

2. Click Notifications.
3. Turn each notification on or off as needed.

   

   • Meeting start reminder

     

   • Recording upload reminder

     

   • Note ready alert
