Symptoms
- You cannot start or stop recording with the Record button
- The device does not vibrate or the indicator light does not change when you press the button
Steps
First check the battery level, then confirm the correct button actions.
Check the battery status
Press the Record button or shake the device and check the indicator light:
- Solid white: battery is sufficient
- Flashing purple: battery is low and needs charging soon
- No light: battery is drained and needs charging immediately
While charging
- Steady purple: charging
- Green: fully charged
Confirm the correct button actions
Start recording
- Press and hold the Record button for 1 second.
- You should feel 1 vibration.
If you feel a vibration but do not see the red light, recording may not have started.
End recording
- Press and hold the Record button for 1 second.
- You should feel 2 vibrations.
If the red light stays on, recording is still ongoing. Try again until you feel 2 clear vibrations.
If it still doesn't work
- Update firmware to the latest version.
- Reset the device: press and hold the Record button for 12 seconds.
