Steps
For best results, record in a quieter environment and keep the Plaud NotePin S close to the speaker.

Test the distance.
- Make a short recording while staying close to the device.
- If audio improves, distance is likely the cause.
- Turn on Clarify voice under AI Speech Enhancement.
- Increase Microphone gain (try 28 or higher), then record again.
After each change, compare a short before-and-after clip to confirm improvement.
