Steps
Below are two common scenarios. Run the test for your case to confirm whether the problem persists.
Run the test at normal room temperature (about 25°C–35°C / 77°F–95°F). Cold temperatures drain the battery faster and can make the results misleading, especially in winter.
Case 1: Short standby time
Example: You used the device once, left it unused for 1-2 days, and the battery was drained.
Test
- Fully charge the device.
- After the indicator light turns green, keep charging for 15 minutes.
- Reset the device: press and hold the Record button for 12 seconds.
- Leave the device unused and check how long the battery lasts.
Case 2: Short recording time
Example: You charged the device to 100%, recorded today, and the battery drained sooner than expected.
Test
- Fully charge the device.
- After the indicator light turns green, keep charging for 15 minutes.
- Reset the device: press and hold the Record button for 12 seconds.
- Record continuously until the battery drains and the device shuts down.
- Recharge, reconnect to the app, and transfer the recording to confirm the total recording hours.
- If the device recorded less than 10 hours continuously, the battery is not performing as expected.
