If you see this message when logging in or connecting in the Plaud app:
“-9999?? The mobile network connection is unstable. Please check the network and try again.”
This error usually means the unstable connection performance in the current version of the app, which may lead to failed connections or repeated disconnects.
Solution
Update the Plaud app to the latest version
Updating often resolves stability issues in the app.
iOS (App Store)
- Open the App Store
- Tap your profile icon (top right)
- Search for Plaud (or find it under updates)
- Tap Update
- Reopen the app and try logging in/connecting again
If you only see Open, you’re already on the latest version.
Android (Google Play Store)
- Open Google Play Store
- Search for Plaud
- Open the app page and tap Update
- Reopen the app and try logging in/connecting again
