What is the display language on Plaud App?
Plaud App does not include an in-app language switch. The display language follows your phone’s language settings. On iPhone (iOS), you can change just the Plaud App’s language without changing your whole phone. On Android, the app follows your system language only.
How to change the display language on iPhone (iOS)?
- Open Settings
- Tap Apps (or scroll down to the app list)
- Find and tap Plaud
- Tap Language
- Select the language you prefer
How to change the display language on Android?
Android devices display Plaud in the system language — there’s no per-app override. To change Plaud’s language on Android, you must change your phone’s system language.

- Open Settings
- Go to System or General management (name may vary by device)
- Tap Language
- Change your system language and tap Apply
- Reopen Plaud (force close and relaunch if needed)

My phone’s menus look different from these screenshots — am I in the wrong place?
Menu names vary by phone brand (Samsung, Xiaomi, Pixel, etc.), but the paths are similar. Look for Settings → Apps → Plaud → Language on iPhone, or Settings → System / General management → Language on Android.
The language didn’t change after I selected a new one — what should I do?
Force close Plaud and reopen it. If the language still doesn’t update, restart your phone.
My preferred language isn’t in the list — can I add it?
If the language isn’t in your phone’s language options for Plaud, it may not be supported on your device yet. Supported languages are determined by both Plaud and your phone’s OS.
Does the display language sync to Plaud Web or Plaud Desktop?
No. Each Plaud surface has its own display language setting.
