To help protect your account, we have enabled Two-step verification for users who sign in with an email address and password. This is Plaud's built-in two-factor authentication (2FA / MFA) feature. It adds an extra layer of security to make sure only you can access your account.
What is two-step verification?
Two-step verification adds a second security step when you sign in.
After you enter your correct email address and password, we will send a 6-digit verification code to your registered email address. Enter this code on the sign-in page to complete sign-in.
Who does this apply to?
Two-step verification applies only to users who:
- Registered with an email address
- Sign in using email + password
It does not apply to users who sign in through third-party providers such as Google or Apple.
How to enable two-step verification?
- Go to Account
- Tap Two-step verification
- Follow the steps to enable Two-step verification
