If you belong to both a Personal and a Plaud Team workspace, you can easily switch between them on either the Plaud App or Plaud Web. This action simply changes your active view. Switching never moves or merges your content, ensuring your access to each workspace remains completely independent.
How do I switch on the Plaud App?
- Open the Plaud App on your phone.
- Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Tap your current workspace name at the top of the menu.
- Choose the workspace you want to switch to.
After switching, all recordings, files, and settings shown in the app will reflect the selected workspace.
How do I switch on Plaud Web?
- Sign in to Plaud Web.
- Click your workspace name in the top-left of the sidebar to open the workspace menu.
- Select the workspace you want to switch to.
The page will refresh and show content from the selected workspace.
FAQ about switching workspaces
Does switching workspaces move my files or recordings?
No. Content created in your Personal workspace stays there; content created in the Team workspace stays in the Team workspace. Switching only changes which workspace you're currently viewing.
When my Plaud device syncs, which workspace receives the new recording?
The workspace the device is bound to, not whichever workspace you happen to be viewing in the app. Device binding is done in the Plaud App. To change the destination, re-bind the device in the Plaud App before your next sync.
Is there a limit on how often I can switch workspaces?
No. You can switch freely between your Personal and Team workspaces at any time on any platform. Each workspace's access, content, and settings are fully independent.
Can I merge my Personal workspace content into the Team workspace?
No. There is no automatic merge or migration. To bring a file into the Team workspace, export it from your Personal workspace and re-import it into the Team workspace manually.
