Being a Member of a Plaud Team workspace gives you full access to essential tools like recording, transcription, and summarization in a managed environment. All your content remains completely private until you choose to share it. Meanwhile, your Admins will take care of the background work like billing, managing Members, and configuring workspace settings.
What can I access as a Member?
Recording and transcription
You have full access to Plaud's recording, transcription, and AI features — the same set of features included in the Plaud Unlimited Plan. To learn more about each feature, visit Plaud Intelligence.
Content and workspaces
- Create and manage your own content within the Team workspace — recordings, transcriptions, and notes are private to you
- Switch between your Personal workspace and the Team workspace at any time on Plaud App or Plaud Web
- Share specific content with team Members using Plaud's invite feature
- Keep your Personal workspace content completely separate from the Team workspace
Devices
- Bind and sync your Plaud device under the Team workspace via the Plaud App (device binding is App-only)
- Manage your own device settings (recording mode, language, etc.)
What can't I access as a Member?
As a Member, you do not have administrative permissions. Specifically, you cannot:
- Access the Workspace management
- Manage billing, subscriptions, or seat count
- Invite or remove other Members
- Change anyone's role
- View or access another Member's content
- Update workspace settings (name, security, etc.)
If you need any of these capabilities, ask your Admin to promote you to the Admin role.
FAQ about Member access
Can another Member or Admin see my recordings in the Team workspace?
No. Your content in the Team workspace is private to you by default. Teammates, including Admins, can only view a file if you share it with them via invite. Admin role is for workspace governance, not content access.
Does switching to my Personal workspace lose the Team features I was using?
No. Team features apply when you are in the Team workspace. When you switch to your Personal workspace, you use whatever plan is on your personal account. Your files stay in whichever workspace created them.
