Symptoms
- You have switched to your Plaud Team workspace but notice that your previous files, recordings, and notes are missing from the view
- The content you created prior to joining the Team workspace remains hidden from that view
- Your files may seem to be missing specifically when you switch between your Personal and Team environments
Steps to rectify the situation

Check your Personal workspace
Switch to your Personal workspace (click your workspace name in the top-left of the Plaud Web sidebar, or tap your profile icon in the top-right corner of the Plaud App). Content created before joining the Team workspace remains in your Personal workspace — it is not automatically migrated.

Verify you are in the correct workspace
Make sure you have the correct Team workspace selected, not your Personal workspace. Content does not carry over between workspaces.
- Plaud App: Go to Settings and confirm the active workspace

Plaud Web: Click your workspace name in the top-left of the sidebar to confirm the active workspace

Check different folders or use search
The file may be in a folder you don't usually browse. Use the search bar with the file name, recording date, or content keywords to locate it across folders in the workspace.

Check the file was created in the correct workspace and the device was bound to it
If you believe the file should be in the Team workspace, verify two things:
- You created or recorded the file while the Team workspace was your active workspace
- Your Plaud device was bound to the Team workspace at the time of recording
Content created or recorded under the Personal workspace stays there and is not visible in the Team workspace.

Check you are signed in with the right account
If you use multiple Plaud accounts (e.g., a work account for the Team workspace and a personal account for your Personal workspace), make sure you're signed in with the account that has access to the workspace where the file should be.
If the issue persists
If none of the steps above help you find your content and you suspect a system error, please submit a request to our support team. Include the following information:
- Your workspace name or ID
- The approximate date the file was last seen
- The Space it was in (if known)
- Whether the file was created in your Personal or Team workspace
- The device SN of the Plaud device used (if applicable)
