Symptoms
- When logging in or connecting in the Plaud App, you see the message "-9999?? The mobile network connection is unstable. Please check the network and try again."
- This usually points to unstable connection performance in the current version of the app, which can lead to failed connections or repeated disconnects.
Steps
Updating the app often resolves stability issues. Follow the steps for your platform.
On iOS (App Store):
- Open the App Store.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right.
- Search for Plaud, or find it under updates.
- Tap Update.
- Reopen the app and try logging in or connecting again.
If you only see Open, you are already on the latest version.
On Android (Google Play Store):
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Search for Plaud.
- Open the app page and tap Update.
- Reopen the app and try logging in or connecting again.
If you only see Open, you are already on the latest version.
If the issue persists
If you still see the error after updating, submit a request to our support team. Please include:
- Your Plaud App version
- Your phone OS version (for example, iOS 17 or Android 14)
- A screenshot of the error message
- A description of when the error appears (logging in or connecting)
