Symptoms
- On iPhone, the Plaud App does not show a Bluetooth option, so you cannot enable Bluetooth access for the app.
- This usually happens when Bluetooth access for the app is restricted in iOS settings.
Steps
First, make sure Bluetooth access is enabled for the Plaud App.
-
Allow Bluetooth changes in Screen Time. If you do not see this option, go to iPhone Settings \> Screen Time \> turn on Content & Privacy Restrictions \> open Bluetooth Sharing and select Allow Changes. Check whether Plaud appears in the list and whether its toggle is on. If the toggle is off, turn it on, then return to the Plaud App, check whether the Bluetooth option now appears, and turn it on.
If the issue persists
If the Bluetooth option still does not appear after the steps above, submit a request and include the following so our support team can investigate:
- Your iPhone model and iOS version, plus the Plaud App version.
- A screenshot of the Plaud App settings screen and the Screen Time \> Bluetooth Sharing screen.
