Symptoms
- Auto-transfer is turned on, but recordings don't appear in the Plaud App until you open it manually.
- Recordings transfer only after you open the app and connect your Plaud Note Pro.
- The Auto-transfer toggle is missing from Bluetooth Transfer settings.
Steps
- Check that Auto-transfer is available and turned on.
- Auto-transfer is iOS only and requires Plaud Note Pro firmware v1.6 or later.
- If the toggle is missing, open the Plaud App, connect your device, and update the firmware.
- In Bluetooth Transfer settings, turn on the Auto-transfer toggle.
- Set location access to Always Allow.
- Go to Settings > Apps > Plaud > Location on your phone and select Always Allow.
- Auto-transfer needs this to detect your device in the background.
- With any other setting, recordings transfer only when you open the app.
- Keep your device nearby with Bluetooth on.
- Turn on Bluetooth and keep your Plaud Note Pro close to your phone.
- A phone restart or low battery can pause background transfer.
- After a restart, open the Plaud App once to resume it.
