Plaud One has two main parts: a charging case and two earbuds. Get to know each part before you start using it.
What are the main components of Plaud One?
Charging case
- Pairing/restart button: inside the case. Powers on the earbuds for the first time and starts Bluetooth pairing. Press and hold it for 12 seconds to restart the device; the Record button doesn't restart it.
- Record button: starts and stops recordings, and marks highlights.
- Agent button: hold to speak to the AI assistant.
- Microphones × 4: capture the room around the case when the case is recording.
- Speaker: plays the AI assistant's voice replies when you're not wearing the earbuds.
- Status light: the light bar that shows pairing, recording, and status. See What the lights on Plaud One mean.
- USB-C port: charges the case.
Earbuds
- Force sensor: the pressure control on each earbud stem for music, calls, and noise control. See Touch controls on Plaud One.
- In-ear detection: senses when an earbud is in your ear and pauses audio when you take it out. It's on by default, and you can turn it off in the Plaud Mobile App under Earbuds > Automatic ear detection.
- Microphones: each earbud has four microphones that capture your voice on calls and nearby conversations. Two sit inside the shell, so you'll only see two openings on the outside.
