Plaud One captures clear audio up to 5 meters away with the charging case. The earbuds record calls and the audio you hear, not the room, so pick the right device below.
How far can Plaud One capture clear audio?
It depends on which device is recording:
- Charging case: up to 5 meters. The case uses a four-microphone array, so it suits meeting rooms, interviews, and group conversations. Place it on the table near the speakers for best results.
- Earbuds: the earbuds record phone calls, online meetings, and the audio playing through them. They don't capture the room around you; to record an in-person conversation, use the charging case.
Actual range varies with background noise and room acoustics. Quiet environments give the clearest capture at longer distances.
