What are the lights on Plaud One?
The light bar on the Plaud One charging case shows what your device is doing. Use this guide to read each light pattern.
Device status
- Blue breathing light: pairing in progress. Plaud One is ready to pair with your phone.
- Blue flowing light: a firmware update is in progress. Keep the earbuds in the case until it finishes.
Battery level
The green light segments show the charging case battery level:
- All segments lit: battery is at 81% to 100%.
- Most segments lit: battery is at 51% to 80%.
- Some segments lit: battery is at 11% to 50%.
- Orange flashing light: battery is at 10% or below. Charge the case soon.
- Segments filling one by one: the case is charging. All segments stay lit once it's fully charged.
Recording
- White breathing light: the charging case is recording.
- Yellow breathing light: the earbuds are recording.
- Gradient pulsing light: a highlight was marked in the current recording.
AI Agent
Gradient lights show the current AI state and unread messages:
- Gradient breathing light: the AI assistant is listening. You'll see it while holding the Agent button.
- Gradient flowing light: the AI assistant is thinking.
- Gradient waving light: the AI assistant is responding.
- Gradient light, two flashes: you have unread AI messages.
Other statuses
- Fast red flashing light: the case is beeping to help you find it. This shows when you locate the case from the Plaud Mobile App.
- Fast blue flashing light: a factory reset is in progress.
- Red flashing light: a system error, such as full storage or an unstable 4G connection. Get the device online or connect to the Plaud Mobile App to upload and free up space.
FAQ about the lights on Plaud One
How can I tell whether the case or the earbuds are recording?
Check the light bar color: white means the case is recording the room, and yellow means the earbuds are recording your call or the audio playing through them.
