What is first-time power-on?
Your Plaud One earbuds arrive powered off. Plaud One stays on from now on. There's no power-off step in daily use. When the battery runs out, charge the case and your device is ready to use again.
How to power on Plaud One for the first time?
Use either method:
Method 1: Use the pairing button
- Place both earbuds in the charging case and keep the lid open.
- Press and hold the pairing button inside the case for 2 seconds.
- The earbuds power on.
Method 2: Charge the case
- Place both earbuds in the charging case.
- Connect the case to power with a USB-C cable for 5 to 10 seconds.
- The earbuds power on automatically.

FAQ about powering on
The case buttons don't respond. What should I check?
The charging case powers on by itself, even when the earbuds are not inside, so the pairing button should respond either way. If the buttons don't respond, the case battery is most likely drained. Connect the case to power and charge it for at least 30 minutes, then try again.
