When Plaud One's storage is full, recording stops and saved files stay safe. Uploading your recordings frees up the space.
What happens
The charging case stores about 30 hours of recordings locally. Storage normally stays nearly empty because recordings upload over 4G as you record. If you've been offline for a long time and storage fills up:
- The current recording stops, and you can't start a new one. The light bar flashes red when you try.
- Your saved recordings are never overwritten.
How to free up space
Get the device back online, and pending recordings upload automatically. No 4G signal? Connect Plaud One to the Plaud Mobile App and upload through your phone. Once uploads finish, you can record again.
