Yes, Plaud One records and uploads without your phone over its own 4G. You only need the Plaud Mobile App to review recordings and settings.

Does Plaud One work without my phone?

Yes. Plaud One records and uploads on its own. The charging case has a built-in 4G connection, so it uploads recordings to the cloud as you record, and transcription and summary start right after you stop. You don't need your phone nearby to record a meeting or conversation.

You'll still use the Plaud Mobile App to review transcripts and summaries, manage your recordings, and adjust device settings. If 4G isn't available, you can also connect Plaud One to the Plaud Mobile App and upload recordings through your phone instead.
