Plaud One offers active noise cancellation (ANC) and transparency mode. It also has three EQ presets, all managed in the Plaud Mobile App.
What noise control modes does Plaud One have?
Plaud One offers two noise control modes:
- Active noise cancellation (ANC): reduces ambient noise while you listen, and adapts to your surroundings in real time.
- Transparency mode: lets outside sound in, so you can hold a conversation without removing the earbuds.
Switch between them in the Plaud Mobile App under Earbuds > Noise control, or reassign press and hold on the earbud stem to noise control. During calls, noise reduction also filters background noise from your voice automatically, so the other side hears you clearly. It works in the background and isn't a mode you switch.
What EQ presets are available?
Three EQ presets: Standard (the default), Bass boost, and Voice boost. Custom EQ isn't supported.
Does Plaud One support Hi-Res audio?
Hi-Res audio with the LDAC codec isn't available. iOS devices use the AAC codec and don't support LDAC.
