What needs the case nearby
- Uploading recordings: the 4G connection is in the case. Earbud recordings reach the cloud through the case.
- Starting a recording and marking highlights: the controls are on the case.
- Talking to the AI assistant: the Agent button is on the case.
If the earbuds lose connection to the case during a recording, they keep recording locally, about 30 minutes on one earbud and about 1 hour across both, then stop when their storage is full. The audio syncs once they reconnect to the case.
