Yes. Plaud One's 4G works in 80+ countries and regions, including the US, the EU, the UK, China, Japan, Korea, Australia, Singapore, and the Middle East. Switching is automatic: when you arrive, the device detects the local network and connects on its own. You don't need to change any settings, buy a local plan, or open the Plaud Mobile App.

Right after you arrive in a new region, upload speeds may be slower for the first 5 to 10 minutes while the device re-detects the network. This resolves on its own.

Is there anything I should know about regional versions?

Plaud One is sold as a mainland China version and an international version to meet local regulations. Both work worldwide. The international version connects through roaming when used in mainland China, so upload speeds there can be slightly slower.
