No earbud controls are disabled while a recording is running. Music, call, and press-and-hold gestures all keep working.
Are any controls disabled while recording?
No. Based on current firmware, no earbud gestures are disabled while a recording is running. The press-and-hold gestures below also keep working:
- Multi-tap controls for music, like double-tap to skip and triple-tap to go back
- Double-tap to reject a call
Press-and-hold gestures while recording
- Press and hold to start or stop an earbud recording (factory default), or to switch between noise cancellation and transparency mode if you've reassigned the gesture to noise control in the Plaud Mobile App
- Press and hold to answer or end a call
