Privacy lock keeps the AI assistant's voice replies private on Plaud One.
What is Privacy lock?
Privacy lock controls when your Plaud One plays the assistant's voice replies out loud, so people around you don't hear your AI responses. It's off by default.
With Privacy lock on, you choose one of two modes:
- Silent mode: the assistant never speaks on the case or earbuds. Read the replies in the Plaud Mobile App instead.
- Companion mode: the assistant speaks on the case or earbuds only while the device is connected to the Plaud Mobile App.
How to turn on Privacy lock?
- Open the Plaud Mobile App and go to your Plaud One's settings.
- Under Find & security, tap Privacy lock.
- Turn on Enable privacy lock, then choose Silent mode or Companion mode.
Good to know
- Privacy lock changes how you receive the assistant's replies, not what you can ask. You can keep talking to the assistant with the Agent button as usual, in Chat or Work mode.
- In Silent mode, check the Plaud Mobile App for the assistant's replies.
