Connect Plaud Agent to your tools, with clear controls over permissions.
Connectors work in Ask Plaud's Work mode, which uses Plaud Credits.
What are Connectors?
Connectors let Plaud Agent work directly with the tools you already use, such as Gmail, Slack, Notion, and Linear. Connectors belong to your account and work on the Plaud Mobile App, Plaud Web, and Plaud Desktop.

How to connect a tool?
- In the Plaud Mobile App, tap the menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner, tap Tools, then switch to the Connectors tab. For Plaud Web and Plaud Desktop, see Connectors on Plaud Web.
- Choose the tool and sign in to authorize it.
- Plaud Agent can now use that tool when a task in Work mode needs it.
- To disconnect, open the same Connectors page, tap Manage on the tool, then tap Disconnect.
You can also reach the same list from the Connectors tab at the top of your Skill list (Ask Plaud → My skills).
How permissions work
When Plaud Agent needs to take a sensitive action, a Permission Card appears and asks for your approval before anything happens. This applies to every sensitive Plaud Agent action (including editing or deleting your own files), not only to Connector actions. Actions are grouped into three sensitivity levels:
- Low sensitivity: read-only actions, such as reading a document, run automatically.
- Medium sensitivity: actions that only change your own data in reversible ways, such as renaming or moving a file or creating a draft, run without approval, and Plaud Agent shows you what it did afterward.
- High sensitivity: outbound or irreversible actions, such as sending an email or message or deleting an event, ask for your approval every time.
FAQ about Connectors
Is my data safe when I connect a tool?
You control every authorization, and high-sensitivity actions require your approval each time. You can disconnect a Connector at any time (see step 4 above).
Can Plaud Agent ever act without asking me?
Only in a Routine with Auto-approve permissions turned on: that switch lets the Routine approve these requests on its own instead of showing you a Permission Card. It's on by default when you create a Routine, so review it for any Routine that sends content outside Plaud. See Routines: run tasks automatically.
Can I use Connectors in Chat mode?
No, with one exception. Chat can read a connected Google Calendar, read-only. To act through any other Connector, start a new conversation in Work mode.
